Assistant ProfessorโฏGaurav Bhattarai teaches the Small States and International Organizations to the post-graduate students at Tribhuvan University. He is the Assistant Editorโฏofโฏthe JournalโฏofโฏForeign Affairs, published by the Instituteโฏof Foreign Affairs(IFA) under the MinistryโฏofโฏForeign Affairs, GovernmentโฏofโฏNepal. His areasโฏofโฏexpertise include China Studies, South Asia, Small States, and Critical Security. He has published extensively in academically renowned international journals, including International Politics, Cambridge JournalโฏofโฏChina Studies, (Stosunki Miฤdzynarodowe-International Relations), Millennial Asia, Geopolitics Quarterly, Pakistan Horizon, Vestnik RUDN, among others.โฏ He has presented his academic papers in international and regional conferences in Australia (Western Sydney University), China( Sichuan University/ Nottingham University- Ningbo), India( Jawaharlal Nehru University), and Bhutan( Royal University of Bhutan). He has also chaired different sessionsโฏofโฏinternational conferences in China(Nottingham University- Ningbo) and Bhutan (Royal University of Bhutan). Heโฏoften writes for the mainstream dailies published in Kathmandu, South Korea, and England including Republica, The Kathmandu Post, Global Asia, IR Info.โฏHis new book "Nepal between China and India: Difficultyโฏofโฏbeing Neutral," is published by Palgrave Macmillan and is available globally.
