Niha Pandey is a PhD Student at the Gender, Peace and Security Centre (GPS), School of Social and Political Sciences, Monash University. Her doctoral thesis will explore upon opportunities and constraints on feminist foreign policy in Nepal. She has been actively engaged in teaching and research on Foreign Policy Analysis, Theories of International Relations and Human Rights. She worked as a co-editor in her publication titled, Human Rights and Impunity in South Asia: States, Societies and Institutions which was published in 2018. She has contributed a chapter on Nepal-Germany Relations to the book titled as Nepal and the Great Powers (2018). Her recent journal publications include On the Crossroads of Economy and Environment: Nepal and BRI (2020), Diplomatic Practices in Nepal (2019) and The Post 1990 Diplomatic Practices of Nepal (2018). She holds her Bachelor's Degree in Business Economics from Lancaster University and her Master's Degree in International Relations and Diplomacy from Tribhuvan University.
